About Get Covered Canada

CarDealsDirect is a Canadian car dealership that, like most dealerships, relied on third-party providers to sell extended warranties and insurance products to car buyers. While functional, this limited their growth: they had little control over pricing, commissions, or customer experience.

Recognizing an opportunity, CarDealsDirect decided to expand beyond dealership operations. They launched a new brand — Get Covered Canada — to become a direct warranty and insurance provider for dealerships across the country.

This was not a problem-solving exercise — it was about building a new business model from scratch. By owning the platform, Get Covered Canada would control product pricing, retain commissions that previously went to third parties, build direct relationships with dealerships, and scale revenue far beyond a single dealership's sales.
